En él repito siempre que mientras alguien

In it, I always repeat that as long as someone

Proponga muerte sobre esta tierra

Suggests death upon this earth

Y se fabriquen armas para la guerra

And weapons are made for war

Yo pisaré estos campos sobreviviendo

I will tread these fields surviving

Todos frente al peligro, sobreviviendo

All facing danger, surviving

Tristes y errantes hombres, sobreviviendo

Sad and wandering men, surviving

Y no puedo olvidarme lo de malvinas

And I can't forget about the Falklands

Cuánta tragedia, sobre esta tierra

How much tragedy, upon this earth

Hoy que quiero reírme apenas si puedo

Today when I want to laugh, I can hardly

Ya no tengo la risa como un jilguero

I no longer have laughter like a goldfinch

Ni la paz de los pinos del mes de enero

Nor the peace of the January pines

Ando por este mundo sobreviviendo

I walk through this world surviving

The denture is good, and an urgent dream

Quiero la vida de mi simiente

I want the life of my offspring

No quiero ver un dia manifestando

I don't want to see a day demonstrating

Por la paz en el mundo a los animales

For peace in the world to the animals

Cómo me reiría ese loco día

How I would laugh on that crazy day

Ellos manifestándose por la vida

Them demonstrating for life
