Yo soy el campanero soy de la costa norte de colombia

Y en todo el mundo entero ando tocando tocando mi cumbia sabrosa y la gente baila con mi esmero

When they hear the trill of my notes

En el baile todos se alborotan

In the dance, everyone gets excited

Con mi ritmo alegre y cumbiambero

With my cheerful and cumbia rhythm

Si les toco un paseo ballenato

If I play a ballenato stroll for them

Me piden un paseo sabanero

They ask me for a sabanero stroll

Con cariño y amor les complazco

With affection and love, I please them

Para que queden todos contentos

So that everyone remains happy

Y siempre voy pa’lante como un misionero
