pudo retenerte y has resucitado.

Venciendo a la muerte, por Dios levantado

Conquering death, raised by God,

ascendiste a los cielos, junto a El te has sentado.

You ascended to the heavens, seated beside Him.

Hoy puedo decir que Tu me has comprado,

Today, I can say that You have bought me,

el precio: la sangre que Tu has derramado.

The price: the blood that You have shed.

Tu palabra no cambia, estás a mi lado,

Your word does not change; you are by my side,

cada día en mi vida Tu sigues obrando.

Every day in my life, You continue to work.

Fiel a tu promesa no me has desamparado,

Faithful to your promise, you have not forsaken me,

prometiste volver y te estoy esperando.

You promised to return, and I am waiting for you.

Sonarán las trompetas ese día anhelado

The trumpets will sound on that awaited day,

y partiré para estar por siempre a tu lado.
